HONOLULU (Island News) – The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) arrested a male driver following a road rage incident that occurred on Wednesday evening.
HPD reported that just after 6 p.m. on May 7, an 18-year-old girl was parking her car on Halekauwila Street with her 35-year-old mom in the passenger seat.
She reportedly saw a gray Tesla speeding past. The 18-year-old girl and the 39-year-old that was driving the Tesla exchanged words.
Officials state that the man then got out of his car and allegedly assaulted both the 18-year-old girl and her mother. He then left the scene in his Tesla.
The man was located and arrested in Waikiki on Thursday, May 8. He is in custody for first-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and assault. His charges are pending at this time.
